*Sez Monica: "Ok, I figure I better clarify why my album is titled "This is Me". There are two reasons for the title actually. The first one is that for years I have been doing cover tunes in clubs and other venues, and I've had a lot of people tell me "Monica, you should write your own stuff". So here ya go guys, here's my own music...This is me, my own stuff, no covers! Yay!!!
"Ok, now for reason #2. When I decided that music was what I wanted to do with my life, I had people along the way tell me things like "you want to pursue music? aren't you kind of dreaming?"...but a dream can be very simple. For me, it's simply to be playing music for people, and for myself. Music is how I live my dreams. This is me, pursuing my dreams, whether I'm playing and singing to friends in my living-room or to a big crowd."
